Job Opportunity at Tazama Pipelines Limited - Electrical Technician


Tazama Pipelines Limited, an interstate organization owned by the United Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Zambia and which deals in transportation of crude oil from Dar es Salaam to Ndola, Zambia.


TAZAMA wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the under-mentioned post below:

Position: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN (1) POST)
Certificate of Secondary Education
Diploma /or Full technical certificate
At least two years working experience
A very good command of spoken English and Kiswahili language


MAIN DUTIES

  • Undertakes effectively the monitoring and evaluation of Electrical and Electronics related installations at a pumping station in order to facilitate interventions, o Undertakes efficiently, the implementation on periodic inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical and electronics related installation in order to ensure their working order o Undertakes timely, repair of electrical systems and machines in case of breakdowns in order to prevent disruptions of operations.
  • Undertakes effectively the cleaning and organization of the workshop in order to ensure that tools and the workshop are in proper order, o Undertakes timely, the compilation of preventive and corrective maintenance documentation in order to retain a record for the section, o Ensures regularly, good housekeeping of work sites in order to eliminate hazards and ensure safety of staff.


REMUNERATION:
