Job Opportunity at Chalinze Water Supply (CHALIWASA), Clinical (Assistant II)

Chalinze Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (CHALIWASA) was officially declared in the Government Notice No. 376 on 30th November 2012 as a fully fledged authority. Initially it was known among the National Water Projects which was initiated by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania in the 1980’s. CHALIWASA was established to take-over responsibilities of Chalinze Water Supply Project (CWSP) and Chalinze Water Users Association (WAMACHA – Jumuiya ya Watumiaji Maji Chalinze). The objective of the Authority is to supply water to communities in various villages of the Chalinze Township, Chalinze District and nearby villages in Bagamoyo, Kibaha and Morogoro Rural Districts.

JOB TITLE: Clinical (Assistant II) — 1 Post

Required Minimum Qualifications: Form four or Form six with a Diploma of Physician Assistant II in the College recognized by the Government, with work experience up to three years.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS

Mode of employment; the Clinical Assistant shall be employed on Contract terms

KEY RESULTS AREAS:

Identify and treat common diseases.
To provide health education for staff.
To participate in the planning and implementation of the basic health services.
Keep records of equipment and tools to offer the service.
To record, prepare and implementation reporting.
Perform any other duty as may be assigned by supervisor.

Salary: According to CHALIWASA-GS Cl, but not below existing and current government scale.
Fringe benefits: As approved by the board of directors
